I know, who has time for hobbies? About 5 years ago I took one of the Wilton Cake Decorating courses at my local AC Moore and I fell in love! I instantly began baking and decorating like no other. Fast forward to now and I still make time to bake and decorate. I have been an avid Cake Boss follower and most recently have become a
Georgetown Cupcake (DC Cupcakes) follower. In October I was able to visit the original Georgetown Cupcake store and I was even further in love!
For Christmas, my loving husband, bought me both of their
cookbooks! The first recipe I tried was actually in People magazine right around Christmas. It was called Champagne Cupcakes. They were DELISH!
The next recipe I tried was the Milk Chocolate Birthday, those are yummy! I just frosted them today!
I can't wait to bake some more of their creations! Do you have any hobbies, besides blogging, of course?
I LOVE making cupcakes. In fact, I love it so much that one year I contemplated starting a business, but decided I couldn't leave teaching. My dad lives in D.C. and when I went to visit him this past summer I desperately wanted to go to Georgetown Cupcakes, but we just didn't have the time since it was a quick trip. I told him next time I am there we are definitely going!! Your cupcakes look delicious! :)
